“Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier. Be the living expression of kindness—kindness in your face, kindness in your eyes, kindness in your smile.”
- Mother Teresa
About Me
I hold a recent Master of Teaching (Primary) degree, complementing my prior achievement of a Bachelor of Psychological Science. Over the past three years, I have contributed to the Education department in dual capacities—first, as a qualified OSHC Educator, and subsequently, as a Student Support Officer, both roles stationed at Thorndon Park Primary School.
My practical experience extends across diverse educational settings, with placements at Highbury Primary School (Year One class) and Swallowcliffe P-7 (Year Six class). Additionally, I completed a Psychology placement at Adelaide West Special School. These experiences have afforded me valuable insights into the nuances of the teaching profession and the daily operations of schools.
Through this journey, I have cultivated a genuine passion for working with children with varying needs and disabilities. This dedication has shaped an inclusive pedagogy, one that is characterized by a balanced approach—firm yet fair. By establishing meaningful connections with my students, I foster an environment of mutual respect, thereby nurturing robust student-teacher relationships and promoting heightened levels of engagement.
I am committed to continuous professional development, actively engaging with fellow educators to refine and enhance my teaching practices. My approach is characterised by a dynamic, positive demeanour, and a genuine enthusiasm for witnessing the growth and success of the youth under my guidance. I prioritise creating a classroom environment where students feel secure, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.
